During pickup, we asked if they would be taking the lawn mower, snowblower, weed trimmer, and other items.

The project manager and other team members told us that they were not allowed to take anything with gasoline in it.

During this time, the house was difficult to navigate, completely soaked, and nature had started to take over. We visited and entered only when necessary.

A few days later, we returned and noticed the generator had gone missing. We thought someone had stolen it; they are valuable, the house is open from the fire, and the fire was in the news. We did not suspect Paul Davis of NCI** had taken it because…they “don’t take items with gas in it.”

After some of the other confidence-breaking incidents, we bean to suspect Paul Davis of NCI** had taken it.

We contacted them and they assured us they did not have it because they do not take items with gasoline.

Six weeks later, after more prodding, Paul Davis of NCI** notified us they had taken the generator.
