The Night Our World Was Turned Upside Down

Early morning, 1:30AM, our family was awakened by the sound of fire-alarms ringing throughout the house. Our family of six (Mother, Father, 2 sons, 2 dogs), Grandpa, and niece escaped 90 seconds before smoke filled the house and visibility decreased to zero.
We are thankful to our neighbors, police department, fire department, friends, and extended family for their immediate support and comfort.
Despite the story of Paul Davis of NCI**, we have an immense amount of gratitude that we all escaped without physical injury.
